Patricia Arden

Collaborative Lawyer

I was admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales in 1987 and in Queensland in 1992. Over my career, I have practised in Moree, Armidale, Noosa and Maroochydore, before joining Cheney & Wilson, Solicitors, in 2007. I later purchased the Blayney office on 1 July 2013 and now practise as a sole practitioner under Arden Law.

The firm’s origins date back to 1893, beginning as Mayhew & Pile of Carcoar and Blayney. I hold a Master of Laws from The University of Sydney and have been actively involved in the profession through the Central West Law Society (CWLS). I have served as the CLE Chair since 2009 and was elected President in 2015.

Outside legal practice, I have contributed to various community organisations, including serving as founding Secretary of the Zonta Club of Noosa and founding President of the Zonta Club of Moree.

“When families collaborate, estate planning becomes a source of certainty rather than conflict.”
The most meaningful estate outcomes are created through collaboration — lawyers, financial advisers, accountants, and families working together to ensure clarity, dignity and lasting peace of mind.
